Here at Unamari we design, develop and produce bandages and bandage pads for horses in our two brands Catago and HorseGuard. You will therefore exclusively find the current and full range of bandages and bandage pads from these two brands on this site.

Why do we use bandages and bandage pads for horses?

Bandages and bandage pads have traditionally been used to protect the horse's legs in various situations such as during riding, at the stable, during transportation or in case of injury. Bandage pads can be used as a pressure-distributing inner layer against the horse's legs.

The use of different riding equipment is constantly evolving, including the use of bandages and bandage pads. We therefore recommend that you continuously keep up to date with the latest knowledge and always consider your horse's individual needs.

Protecting your horse is always extremely important. That's why it's always a good idea to use bandages to support your horse's tendons, prevent injury and promote healing. White bandages for horses

White bandages have traditionally been used at competitions - primarily in dressage. Partly during warm-up, in some dressage programs also on the competition course, and also for prize-giving ceremonies. Here at Unamari we offer white bandages in different materials and also white bandage pads.

As mentioned above, however, there is a great development in the use of different riding equipment including bandages and bandage pads, so we recommend that you always stay updated on current rules for the use of bandages and bandage pads at competitions.

Catago fleece bandages and HorseGuard fleece bandages

Fleece is a preferred bandage material for many riders and horse owners. We offer fleece bandages in both our Catago and HorseGuard brands. The bandages are 3.5 meters long and close with Velcro. They are available in different colors.

Bandages for ponies

Both our Catago fleece bandages and our HorseGuard fleece bandages can be cut shorter according to individual wishes so they can be used for ponies.

Catago fleece/elastic bandages and HorseGuard fleece/elastic bandages

The fleece/elastic bandages combine soft fleece for warmth and protection with high quality stretch elastic for optimal support. The length of the fleece piece, which is innermost against the horse's leg is: 190 cm. And the length of the elastic piece that provides support on the outside is 170 cm. The bandages have a Velcro closure and are available in several colors.

Catago FIR-Tech fleece/elastic bandages

We also offer fleece/elastic bandages in the Catago FIR-Tech range. This is a bandage with ceramic particles woven into the fleece that reflect the horse's body heat as electromagnetic infrared heat radiation that penetrates the tissue and dilates the blood vessels. This provides good blood flow and counteracts tension and fatigue in the legs.

HorseGuard knitted bandages

Some riders and horse owners prefer knitted bandages to fleece bandages or fleece/elastic bandages. We have a single variant in this material. They are classic black. They close with Velcro and have a discreet tone-in-tone logo.

HorseGuard flex bandage

HorseGuard flex bandage is a self-adhesive flex bandage with elastic. It is suitable for covering wounds on top of a non-adhesive bandage or as an extra protective layer for gaiters or bells. Soft and comfortable for the horse, but also lightweight and breathable for wound treatment. The material can be easily torn to the desired length without the use of scissors. An ideal and indispensable bandage for the first aid kit in the stable for many horse owners.

Catago Comfort bandage pads

Catago Comfort bandage pads are soft and comfortable bandage pads that keep the leg temperate and dry. Very durable even after many washes. The pads have Velcro for fixation and are available in both black and white with 2 front legs (30*45cm) and 2 rear legs (40*45cm).

Catago Hybrid pads

Hybrid are classic pads with Catago Hybrid technology. The graphene print has beneficial thermoregulatory, anti-static and durable properties. Soft foam filling provides shock absorption. Breathable outer fabric prevents tendon overheating. Water-repellent exterior with antibacterial properties makes this the ultimate bandage solution. Suitable for stables, training or transportation

Catago FIR-Tech bandage pads

CATAGO FIR-Tech bandage pads are elegant long bandage pads that are suitable for both riding and under stable bandages. The inside of the pads is the functional FIR-Tech material, which has woven ceramic fibers that reflect the horse's body heat and increase blood circulation, allowing muscles, tendons and joints to warm up faster, thus preventing injuries. The bandage pads are lined with fiberfill and the outer material is the airy mesh material also known from the FIR-Tech rug.

HorseGuard bandage pads

In our HorseGuard range we offer several different bandage pads. Both classic black and white, but also Marissa model, which adds a little more color to the style. It's a great way to give a little extra protection to your horse.

HorseGuard reflective bandage covers
