CATAGO Classic Icelandic rug is a small quilted and shaped cotton rug with Velcro on the straps. The pad has brushed cotton on the inside.

The pad has a smart double braided pipe and Velcro on all straps. The pad has our popular IQ Comfort inside, which transports excess heat and sweat away from the horse. Elegant underlay is an underlay for Icelandic horses with Catago FIR-Tech technology. With FIR-Tech underlay you get the beneficial anti-inflammatory and warming effect on the horse's back from the ceramic particles. The Elegant pad has the popular Catago saddle pad shape that prevents rubbing along the spine. There is also a protective insert that prevents wear on the pad from the girth buckle. The pad is available with and without a shock-absorbing and pressure-distributing neoprene padding.

CATAGO FIR-Tech saddle pad correction

In addition to FIR-Tech, the Catago correction pad also has six compartments in the saddle bed - three on each side. This makes it possible to change the thickness of the pad locally and adapt it to the individual horse's back with the included foam pads.

This can be relevant for young horses or horses in increased training, where the saddle may not fit perfectly as the horse develops. The saddle can be raised slightly at the front or back, or only on one side if the horse has developed an imbalance due to injury, for example. Extra foam pads are included, so you can adjust the pressure of the saddle.

Washing Icelandic saddle pads

Catago FIR-Tech pads can be machine washed at max 30 degrees without reducing the FIR-Tech effect. We recommend that you use a laundry bag to protect the pad during washing.
