Women's competition clothing

If you're going to a competition, you need to have your rider's clothing in order. What riding gear you need varies from discipline to discipline and the level of the event. At Unamari, you'll find everything you need for riding clothes for competitions: competition jackets, dressage dresses, competition blouses and shirts and white competition pants. And of course also riding event accessories like plastron, event gloves and hairnets.

Your event jacket should usually be dark, but whether your event jacket should be navy, black, green or red depends on your taste and sometimes the individual regulations of the discipline. It's also the discipline and level that determines what type of competition jacket you should wear.

Under the competition jacket you typically wear a competition blouse or competition shirt. The show shirt is often white, but can also be dark. Whether it's short-sleeved or long-sleeved and what the neck looks like is more a matter of taste.

Competition pants are typically white, off-white or off-white, and can be both riding pants and riding tights.

Riding gloves at the start of the competition are allowed in most disciplines and required in some. At show jumping competitions, gloves are typically allowed without color restriction, while at dressage competitions they are required and must be white, off-white or the same color as the competition jacket.

Some equestrian competitions may also require riding with a plastron or riding tie, and it is common practice to wear your hair up if you have long hair. This can be done with stylish hair elastics or hairnets for competition use.

Men's breeches

Men's breeches must naturally fit well on the male rider. Men have e.g. often have narrower hips, longer legs and generally a different body shape than women. Breeches should fit optimally, be smart, provide the right support and be comfortable so that the male rider has the best ride. Breeches and tights for kids and teens

Breeches for kids should be easy to get in and out of, have good mobility, and full grip is typically best. This makes it easier to stay in place. When it comes to children's breeches, comfort, price, child growth and children's taste are good parameters to keep in mind.

This is a great help for the child because the breeches themselves help with better grip in the saddle, and at the same time the riding tights are a pull-on model that makes it easy for the child to get the pants on and off themselves.

All our breeches for children also have an adjustable waistband that makes it possible to adjust the size of the waistband - because children grow. This is done by moving the button in the elastic on the inside of the waistband of the jodhpurs, as you can with many regular children's clothes.
