How to wash a dressage pad?

A clean pad is key to comfort and health for the horse. We recommend washing your dressage pads regularly - preferably after a few rides - to remove sweat, dirt and hair that can otherwise cause irritation. Machine wash at 30 degrees and use a laundry bag to protect the material. Before washing, always brush away loose hairs and make sure the Velcro straps are closed. This will keep your pad neat, comfortable and ready for the next ride. The same can be done with most jumping pads.
