Is your saddle the right fit?

The saddle is one of the most important pieces of riding equipment in equestrian sports. Finding the most optimal saddle for each horse and rider combination and customizing it is an art form in itself. This is done by saddlers and other specialists in the field and is not a service we offer at Unamari. An ill-fitting or ill-fitting saddle can cause a variety of problems in the horse's body - from coat wear, to sore and stiff muscles, to pain points, muscle shrinkage and even injury.

What does a half pad do?

Ideally, every riding horse deserves its own customized saddle, which is tailored exactly to the individual horse and is regularly adjusted according to how the horse develops. In reality, however, this is not always possible for a variety of reasons. In these cases, it may be appropriate to use a saddle pad between the saddle and the ground to improve how the saddle lies on the horse's back.

Our Horse Guard saddle pad in medi lamb is available in natural, black and navy colors and sizes pony and full. The lambskin has several advantages. It is a natural material that is antibacterial, breathable, sweat-absorbing and temperature regulating.

We also offer a half pad in faux lamb. In recent years, faux lamb has become an increasingly popular material in riding equipment. It is used in various ways to protect the horse's coat from wear and tear and to make riding equipment such as grips, bridles, reins and girths more soft and comfortable for the horse.

Here at Unamari we also offer a saddle pad in memory foam. Memory foam molds to the horse's back when the saddle is put on and can help equalize and distribute pressure.

Catago FIR-Tech half pad

In our wide Catago FIR-Tech range you will find both a pad with FIR-tech technology and a saddle pad. This saddle pad is also made of memory foam, but also has woven ceramic fibers that reflect the horse's body heat as infrared energy, which increases blood circulation.
